The Isolite E3 is a 300 – 550 VA inverter. It has a fast transfer system compatible with all lighting loads, including LED and HID. The smart self-diagnostic circuit retains and logs data, and the UL is listed at a 90-minute run time. There are three separate field selectable outputs: normally on, normally off, and switched. This inverter's compact housing makes for easy installation and comes with an optional wall mounting bracket. The programmable settings are made for easy use, and it comes standard with an audible alarm.

A lighting inverter system is made up of it’s power conditioning component, inverter components, charging, and the backup runtime component which are batteries. The UL 924 compliance code requires that 90 minutes of battery minimum are provided to all exit sign routes. This 90 minute runtime can only pass it’s minimum test by having well charged, healthy batteries.
